We have a new Office Manager! Sue Beninson has been with us for six months as Senior Administrator and has just been promoted to Office Manager!
What is the new Office Manager role?
In her new role, Sue will take full responsibility for smooth running of our processes and for the Administration Team as we continue to grow and expand in 2024. She will work alongside the project team to make sure the move to our bigger offices goes smoothly. She will handle most of the administration queries, and also contact clients where we are missing documents or signatures … or payments!
Sue has made a huge difference to us so far, learning so much in such a short time. It’s particularly helped me by releasing my own time to concentrate on our clients and the more strategic side of the business.
Sue says:
“ I can’t believe it has been six months since I started working at Morecambe Bay Wills. The time has flown by, it has been so busy. Learning about Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney began on my first day and has never stopped. I didn’t realise how much, ‘behind the scenes,’ work goes into the documentation and processes to ensure the Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney are of the highest quality. We have been very busy with both new and returning clients, and it has been a pleasure to meet and talk to some of our clients. I have been a witness several times for people who come into the office to sign their documents. This always feels like a positive experience as you know you are helping them to gain peace of mind.
I have been learning from the bottom-up, which I believe is the best way to understand all aspects of the service we offer. Paula and Georgia have been great teachers, and have shown lots of patience with me. Andrea and Jane have given me an insight into their roles as Estate Planners. That helps me to understand the work they do and the relationships they have with each and everyone of their clients. Nicola is the Guru! I am in awe of her knowledge and passion for the work she does, the company she created, and the clients she supports.
Recently I watched the National Will Awards on-line. I felt a great sense of pride as Morecambe Bay Wills won and were highly commended. The team work so hard it was great for them to be recognised. And me – well I enjoy being part of a special team, doing a worthwhile job and continuing to grow. I feel I have contributed to both the team and the service, by bringing some Sue into their lives. “
What does this mean for our clients?
Most of you will continue to see me, Andrea of Jane and have your documents drafted by us. But you may speak to our new Office Manager, Sue, if you call the office. Or she may contact you if we need some information from you to finalise your case. Say Hello when you call – she is super helpful, along with Paul and Georgia who also work in our office.
Please join us in congratulating Sue in her new role
